Whoopi Goldberg wants to work with Tom Cruise to bag another Oscar

Washington, Dec 5 : Actress Whoopi Goldberg is desperate to work with Tom Cruise in a bid to win another Oscar.

The 'Ghost' actress is convinced that working with the 'Vanilla Sky' actor would get her an Oscar, as he has proved lucky for many of his co-actors.

Whoopi, who is baffled as to why the Hollywood hunk hasn't won any Oscar till date, mentions the example of Cuba Gooding Junior, who acted alongside Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire and won an Oscar.

"One of the reasons I want to work with him is that he seems to gather Academy Award nominations for the people he works with," Contactmusic quoted Whoopi, as saying.

Whoopi, who won an Oscar for best supporting actress in 1990's 'Ghost', has great respect for Tom, and emphasized upon the fact that it's time he won an Oscar himself.

"People forget what a good actor he is," Whoopi said.
