Leona Lewis single becomes 'fastest-selling download in UK'
London, Dec 5 : Popstar Leona Lewis's cover of Snow Patrol's hit 'Run' has broken records and become the fastest-selling digital track in the UK.
Some 70,000 people downloaded 'Run' in the first two days since it became available.
It beats Estelle's American Boy, which sold 51,857 downloads in a week to become the biggest digital-only single.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker, who has been nominated in the category of 'record of the year' at the Grammys, is on her way to achieve her third number one. The hit single 'Run' features on an enhanced version of her album Spirit, which became the first re-release to go straight in at number one, beating Dido's third collection, reports BBC.
Lewis's album has already sold some four million copies around the world since it was first released a year ago.
Meanwhile, that the singer's song Bleeding Love is its most popular downloaded track of 2008 on Apple's iTunes.
