Angelina Jolie's son Maddox made her believe in fate

Washington, Dec 4 : Angelina Jolie has revealed that after meeting her first adopted son, Maddox, she started believing in fate.

The actress was never one to believe that everything in life happens for a reason, but when she met Maddox, she had a serious change of heart.

"I never believed in any kind of fate but when I met my son Maddox I just remember going to his country and when I left, I felt like I had left something behind," Fox News quoted Jolie, as telling the reporters while promoting her new film "The Changeling."

"So I went back and I knew my kid was there, it was the strangest feeling. Then I woke up one morning and knew they were going to introduce me to my son - I saw Mad and knew I was his mother.

"I can't explain it, I don't know why it was him or that country but it was absolutely meant to be," she added.
