Kolkata prays for Mumbai terror victims
Kolkata, Dec 3 : The All India Minority Forum (AIMF) demanded immediate action against Pakistan based terror groups at a prayer meeting here today
The prayer meet was held in memory of the victims of Mumbai terror attacks.
The President of AIMF, Idris Ali said that politicians both at the national and state levels should realise that there was an urgent need to provide security to the people. The government should ensure peace and security for all citizens irrespective of religion, caste, creed and class. "We have demanded a strong step against terrorism so that in future they do not dare to commit such acts of barbarism. We also appeal to the State and Central Governments to ensure the safety of life of people," he added.
People from different walks of life joined the peace prayer meet.
