Reese Witherspoon's 'Four Christmases' tops weekend box office

Washington, Dec 1 : Romantic comedy 'Four Christmases', starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn, has topped the weekend box office after raking in 31.7 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, 'Bolt' came second with 26.6 million dollars while 'Twilight' slipped to the third spot after raking in 26.4 million dollars, reports E! Online.

The latest Bond flick 'Quantum of Solace' landed the fourth spot after pocketing 19.5 million dollars.

'Australia', starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, rounded off the top five with 14.8 million dollars.

The top-grossing weekend films are:

1. Four Christmases, $31.7 million

2. Bolt, $26.6 million

3. Twilight, $26.4 million

4. Quantum of Solace, $19.5 milliion

5. Australia, $14.8 million

6. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, $14.5 million
