Princess Eugenie's narrow escape from Mumbai massacre
London, Dec 1 : Princess Eugenie had a narrow escape from the Mumbai terror attack, while she was on a trip to India, according to reports.
The Queen's 18-year-old granddaughter had left the city just four days before the attacks.
It is believed that she visited the Oberoi Hotel and the Leopold cafe where the massacre began.
Eugenie was accompanied by armed protection cops.
Following the attacks, a senior source has revealed that even the guards would have been "little defence during the massacre. It has sent shockwaves through the palace. It doesn't bear thinking about," reports the Sun.
