Masses should rise against terrorism, says AIMF

New Delhi, Dec.1 : The All India Minorities Front National President,S.M. Asif, has appealed to the masses to rise against terrorism and terrorists and teach a befitting lesson to such anti national elements.

He said that the public has lost faith and hope in the Police and the Government and is not a healthy sign for our democracy and the only alternative is to have united public effort on the issue.

Asif described the terror strikes in Mumbai as a failure of the national intelligence network, especially the coastal intelligence, custom intelligence, the National Security Advisor, RAW, IB and alike though the Maharashtra Police also failed to check the infiltration despite warnings and earlier inputs.

Asif said the Home Minister resigning is not a solution but only a political gimmickry being played by the ruling leadership. n a press release, he said that if the reports which say that these elements were there in the Hotel for many days are correct then how could they enter from the boats and vice versa.

Asif demanded that the government should clear before the Indian mases that was it aware of US Intelligence officials being present in the Taj Hotel and also the truth of Mosaid activists of Israel being amongst the Nariman House residents. If it is correct then was the attack on the CIA or Mosaid?

He said that the Government should immediately fix responsibility of officials in IB, RAW, Coastal Intelligence, Custom Intelligence etc. and also tell the nation how such ammunition could enter via sea when all these agencies were present. Their role and connivance needs a thorough probe and truth can not come out without that.

He said the nation has the right to know facts and the Government should come out with the truth without delay.
