US should reconsider supply of arms to countries, linked with terror
Washington, Nov 30 (UNI) The India-US Friendship Council has said the United States should reconsider supplying weapons to the countries, linked to terrorism and follow-up on any financial aid.
'' The US should also check the flow of funds to underground Jehadi movements,'' Council chief Dr DK Reddy said in a statement last night.
He said the United States should call upon the United Nations' Security Council for an urgent international consensus on terrorism.
'' The terrorist attacks in India are threat to entire world.
Terrorism is right behind our backyard,'' Dr Reddy added.
He recalled that India was the first country to offer unconditional support to the US after the 9/11 attacks.
