Three flights diverted due to poor visibility

Nedumabassery, Nov 30 (UNI) As many as three International flights had been diverted to Thiruvananthapuram from the Kochi International Airport here due to poor visibility.

As the flights could not land at the airport due to fog in the morning, they landed later.

Air Arabia Flight from Sharjah was diverted to Thiruvananthapuram due to fog on the runway in Kochi Airport at noon. The flight later returned at Kochi and left to Sharja after three hour delay.

Etihad flight departed to Abu Dhabi at 0740 hrs and Qatar flight left to Doha at 0800 hrs, the sources added.
