Shailesh Krishna returns to UP CM Secretariat

Lucknow, Nov 30 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government today appointed senior Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer Shailesh Krishna as the principal secretary in the Chief Ministers Secretariat.

Mr Krishna, who was the principal secretary of the Chief Minister earlier, was presently holding the post of principal secretary, forest and handicapped welfare.

According to official sources, Mr Krishna was likely to take charge this evening. Mr Krishna was in the CM's secretriat after Ms Mayawati came to power in May 2007, but was shifted out, a couple of months back.

The state government is also expected to go for a major reshuffle in the state administration today, sources said.
