Shaheed-e-Azam Naujwan activists burn effigies of Let
Hoshiarpur, Nov 30 (UNI) Activists of Shaheed-e-Azam Naujwan Society burnt effigies of Lashkar-e-Toiba and Al-Qaida at Banga Chowk, Garhshankar, near here today to show their resentment against these terrorist outfits responsible for the recent attack on Mumbai on the night of November 27 following which 183 innocent persons were killed and 327 were injured.
All the activists, led by their President Harish Kumar, wearing Saffaron Patkas (kerchief) on their forehead, took out a motorcycle march in the main bazars of the town and raised slogans against Al-Qaida, Lashkar-e-Toiba and Osama Bin Laden and later burnt the effigies of both the terrorist outfits.
Later, sddressing the rally Harish Kumar strongly condemned the killings of innocent persons and appealed the people to unitedly stand to root out terrorism from the country.
