Mayawati directs acceleration of developmental work

Lucknow, Nov 30 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today emphasised the need for accelarating developmental work in the state.

Reviewing the developmental work in the state in a high-level meeting at her official residence here, Ms Mayawati directed senior officials to ensure quality of the work.

She also reviewed the preparations for the budget for the year 2009-10 to be presented in the state assembly. The Chief Minister also reviewed the resources from where the funds would be generated for the implementations of the recommendations of the sixth pay commission in the state.
