International Sahityaik Samaroh concludes

Chandigarh, Nov 30 (UNI) The Director of Haryana Sahitya Academy, Desh Nirmohi today condemned the terrorists' attacks in the country.

Dr. Malik was speaking in the international Kavya Gosthi organised during the two-day International Sahityaik Samaroh at Ambala.

The event was organized by Haryana Sahitya Academy, Panchkula, Indian International Association, Writers Club International and Punjabi Sahitya Academy.

A two minute silence was also observed during the function in the memory of martyrs.

The Kavya Gosthi was dedicated to the renowned writer, Rakesh Vats.

Mr Desh Nirmohi informed that Haryana Sahitya Academy would organize Bhartiya Kavi Utsav and Vishav Kavita Utsav in the month of February next.

He said that holding of these literary functions could help in preventing such incidents.

The Chief Guest of the occasion was Additional Director, Agriculture, Mr. Pradeep Kasni.

Poets from other countries besides poets from other parts of India participated in the event.
