Fire in vehicle factory's carton godown

Jabalpur, Nov 30: A wooden carton godown, situated near security institute's vehicle factory at Ranjhi area in cantonment town caught fire on Sunday, Nov 30, factory sources said.

The godown was situated outside the premises of factory gate number six and fire broke out in the godown where wooden cartons, used for packaging the goods in the factory, were stocked.

About 12 fire tenders jointly of municipal corporation and factory were used to douse the blaze. On getting information, the factory's senior management officer rushed to the spot.

The loss in the flames would be estimated after an investigation by the factory officers, sources added.
