District Press Club to collect Martyrs fund

Madikeri, Nov 30: Kodagu Press Club President H T Anil on Sunday, Nov 30 said the club would collect 'Martyrs' fund for the family of the victims, who died in recent terrorists attack in Mumbai.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Anil said the fund would be sent to the Prime Minister Relief fund on January one, next year.

The Club Director B G Ananthashayana said a competition on essay and elocution would be conducted for students to create awareness on sacrifice made by the defence personnel to safeguard the nation.
