UK says it's too early to say anything about Mumbai terror strikes
London, Nov 29 : British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has reportedly said that it was too early to say anything about the background of the terrorists involved in Mumbai terror strikes.
He, however, said that the terrorists could be linked to another country.
"There is so much information still to be discovered and made available. I would not want to be drawn into early conclusions about this," the Daily Times quoted Brown as saying while speaking to reporters.
Brown said he would discuss the situation with Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
He said the British government is investigating whether some of the attackers in the deadly India shootings could be British citizens with links to Pakistan or Kashmir, "but there was no such evidence yet."
"Obviously when you have terrorists operating in one country they may be getting support from another country or coming from another country," Brown said.
Foreign Secretary David Miliband said British detectives would work with India to shed light on the source of the plot. "We obviously will want to work very, very closely with the Indians," he added.
