Terrorism is one of the issues of campaign: Malhotra
New Delhi, Nov 29 (UNI) BJP Chief Ministerial candidate V K Malhotra today said the Congress government had failed to combat terrorism and the intelligence agencies were also not able to give prior information about terror strikes.
''Terrorism, therefore, was one of the major issues we raised in our campaign,'' Prof Malhotra said while briefing mediapersons after casting his vote in the Delhi Assembly election. He expressed the hope that the BJP would recapture Delhi after a gap of ten years.
He said, ''The number of voters was less in the early hours of today but with the passage of time the percentage increased.'' Prof Malhotra is contesting from the high-profile Greater Kailash assembly constituency against Congress' candidate former MCD Councillor Jeetendra Kochchar.
