Security to be tightened in city after Mumbai terror strikes
Chennai, Nov 29 (UNI) City Police Commissioner K Radhakrishnan today held a meeting with the managements of all hotels in the city to beef up security in the wake of the terror strikes in the star hotels in Mumbai.
Mr Radhakrishnan suggested that the hotel managements take the utmost care in maintaining high security and leave nothing for chances.
They should install secret cameras and set up a control room with Closed Circuit Television (CCTVS) sets to monitor the movements of suspicious people, he said.
The Police Commissioner also suggested that they hire the services of ex-servicemen for security and keep in touch with the local law and order police.
Commandos have already been posted in all star hotels in the city as part of stepping-up the security after the Mumbai terror attacks, he added.
