A brave NSG commando loses life in a fight
Mumbai, Nov 29: The Director General of NSG, J K Dutt addressed the media and described the story of one of the NSG commando, Gajendra Singh who bravely fought. "Gajendra Singh had a face to face glance of the terrorist and the terrorist tried to overpower the commando and snatch the arms and ammunitions. Gajendra fought bravely and lost his life."
He also said that three terrorists have been gunned down and the prime focus of NSG now is to sanitise all the rooms in the Hotel. Only a part of the operation is over. He also appealed to the remaining guests in the Hotel to open their screens wide so that the they could be evacuated from the Hotel. Even if a terrorist camouflaged, tries to open the screen, the snipers are sharp enough to recognise them and gun them down.
The NSG has gunned down a terrorist who was trying to stand near a window and make a grenade attack. The terrorist fell on to the ground from window. The NSG is yet to confirm the number of terrorists inside the Hotel. Operation is still on at the Taj. Once the operation is declared to be over, the NSG needs to confirm that all guests have been evacuated and any dead bodies need to be removed.
