KKF to organise painting competition tomorrow

Ahmedabad, Nov 29 (UNI) A painting competition on ''Healthy Habits Healthy Life'' will be organised here tomorrow at Fun Republic for school children by Karuna Kare Foundation (KKF).

This competition is for school children of standard five to 12 on the subjects Healthy, Diet, Environment, Physical Health and Evils of Tobacco, which will be held from 0830 hrs to 1200 hrs, foundation sources said.

Cancer children patients and mentally challenged children are invited for the competition to show their creativity.

KKF is a non-profit organisation dedicated to provide support to the people suffering from cancer and their families.

Its inception was done by a cancer patient, who survived this ailment and recognized the need for a support group working in this area.

The KKF came into existence in October 2003 with the objective to provide social, emotional and financial support to the cancer patients, survivors and their families. sources said.
