Groundnut, its oil and RBD palm oil steady

Mumbai, Nov 29 (UNI) Prices of groundnut, oil and RBD palm oil remained unchanged today, following scattered buying by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds (per quintal), groundnut seed, Javas 60/70 and javas 70/80 remained flat, while castorseed Bombay and sunflower seed fell by Rs 75 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, on sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders said.

In oils (per ten kg), seasame expeller and sunflower exp slid by Rs ten per ten kg each on poor offtake by bulk conusmers, while Castor comm shed Rs 15 per ten kg.

All the de-oiled cakes remained flat today, traders added.
