CM orders 10 kg free rice distribution to rain-affected people
Chennai, Nov 29 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today ordered distribution of 10 kg of free rice to those affected by the recent rains.
The government has already announced an assistance of Rs 2,000 to people, whose huts were partly or fully damaged.
In addition to the cash assistance, the Chief Minister ordered distribution of ten kg of free rice, an official release here said.
