Batman not to be killed in new comic
Washington, Nov 29 : Batman comic bosses have denied reports that the Caped Crusader will be killed off in the popular comic book.
Rumours were abuzz that Batman will meet a gruesome end in the latest book titled Batman, R.I.P.: Conclusion.
However, D.C. Comics executives have shot down the reports, insisting that the superhero's demise has been blown out of proportion.
Though the story ends story ends on a cliffhanger, executive editor Dan DiDio insists Batman will return.
"He's not dead, though he'll definitely be gone for a while," Contactmusic quoted DiDio as telling the New York Daily News.
"Batman and (alter ego) Bruce Wayne have been here long before me, and they'll be around long after me," he added.
