Zardari, Gillani. Karzai call up PM, express solidarity
New Delhi, Nov 28 (UNI) Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani as well as Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai telephoned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to express solidarity with India in the fight against against terrorism.
The three leaders who called up to condole the deaths of innocent people in the Mumbai tarrorist attack, also expressed concern at the incident.
Mr Zardari, pointing out that he was ''appalled and shocked at the tragedy,'' indicated to Dr Singh that ''non-state actors'' were responsible for the attack, sources said.
''Non-state actors wanted to force upon the governments their own agenda but they must not be allowed to succeed,'' Mr Zardari told Dr Singh, the sources added.
