Train traffic hit as mob protests death of children
Ghaziabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Traffic movement at Chander nagar halt today remained affected for several hours after locals created ruckus on the railway track demanding compensation to the familes of five children, who were run over by Rajdhani Express here yesterday.
A mob of 500 people staged commotion at the halt near Maharajpur, railway sources said.
The protest could only be brought to an end after senior police officials pacified the mob.
Yesterday, five school children were mowed-down by Rajdhani express when they were returning home near Sahibabad railway station.
