Security operations continue, 1 NSG commando hurt
Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Around 40 hours after the worst terror attack was raged against India's financial capital, the joint security operations are still on at the besieged Taj Mahal, Trident Hotels and Nariman House in South Mumbai, hurting an NSG commando.
The National Security Guards (NSG) commandos climbed down through ropes from helicopters at the terrace of Nariman House this morning, even as the battle between the joint security forces and militants intensified.
Around 15 commandos were dropped by the Army choppers on the terrace of Nariman House at around 0710 hours, pursuant to several aerial surveys over the besieged places, last evening. The terrorist reacted to the operation with indiscriminate firing, hurting the NSG commando.
Meanwhile, the security forces have also intensified their operations at the Hotel Trident and Taj Mahal. After the flushing out operations, the agencies are still suspecting one or two terrorists being holed up at Taj hotel. At Trident the agencies are still continuing to rescue the hostages.
