Ray condoles V P Singh's demise

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28(UNI) Former Lok Sabha Speaker Rabi Ray today mourned the death of former Prime Minister V P Singh who passed away at New Delhi yesterday.

In a message Mr Ray said, ''As the Speaker of Lok Sabha I came in personal contact with Mr Singh who was then the Prime Minister.

He was an incorruptible Prime Minister and introduced many pro-poor policies during his tenure,'' he said.

''May his soul rest in peace'', the former Lok Sabha Speaker added in his condolence message.
