R R Patil promises to beef up security along route
Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil today said security was not enough along the sea route, but assured that they will soon be beefing up the security.
Speaking to mediapersons outside the Trident Hotel, Mr Patil said it has been confirmed that the terrorists were from Pakistan and if needed they can also furnish the proofs. ''The Anti-Terrorist Squad will handle the investigation into these attacks,'' he added.
The Deputy Chief Minister also confirmed that the operation at Trident Hotel has been completed and the security forces have recovered 30 bodies from the hotel. ''However, the operation at Taj and Nariman House is still on and we are expecting to end them soon,'' he said.
