Police find mobile phone of terrorist
Mumbai, Nov 27 (UNI) A mobile phone, believed to be belonging to one of the terrorists, who have entered the Hotel Taj Mahal, was found lying outside the heritage structure in south Mumbai today, police said.
Police said while the terrorists were hurling the hand granades from the Hotel, a mobile phone of one of them fell down. It was recovered by fire brigade officials who handed it over to the police. It kept ringing endlessly, they said.
The calls were coming from across the border, police said, adding, they have started the process of verifying these calls in order to trace the mobile phone's registration.
They (the police) may be able to get a lead in the case based on the calls made and received on this mobile phone, sources stated.
