Kottayam convention begins Dec 1

Kottayam, Nov 28 (UNI) The 71st Kottayam Convention will be held at Thirunakkara Maidan here from December one to seven under the auspices of the Brethren Church.

At a news conference here today, Convention Committee Convener Mathew Abraham said noted Bible scholars, Dr Mathew Koshy (Mumbai), Joy John (Bangalore), Jose Mangudy (Vayanad), M M Zachariah (Kottayam), John Kurian (Kottayam) and Chandapilla Philip (Kottayam) would be the main speakers. Gospel meetings will be held daily.

The women's conference, part of the convention, will be held on December six at Brethren Assembly hall and youth meeting on Sunday at KPS Menon Hall.

Worship meeting would be held at KPS Menon Hall on December seven. Believers from different parts of the country would participate in the meeting, he said.
