Jamiat Ulama condemns Mumbai attacks

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Condemning the attacks in Mumbai, MLC and Jamiat Ulama State President Moulana Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed today said the government should take strong steps and punish the culprits.

In a statement, he said the Jamiat was always opposed to such attacks and demanded severe action against those involved.

He added that Islam was the religion of brotherhood and taught respect towards country and humanity.

He also paid tributes to officers and innocent people who lost their lives in the incident.
