Gold April 09 contract up

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Gold April 09 contract went up by 7.50 per cent to Rs 13,051 per 10 grams, at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today.

Similarly, silver May 09 contract rose by 7.55 per cent to Rs 18,192 per kg, an MCX release said.

Aluminium January 09 contract lost 3.98 per cent to Rs 89.30 per kg, lead November 08 contract by 2.26 per cent to Rs 58.30 per kg, while copper November 08 contract gained by 4.12 per cent to Rs 183.30 per kg, Nickel November 08 contract moved up by 5.39 per cent to Rs 522.40 per kg and zinc January 09 contract moved up by 4.78 per cent to Rs 63.55 per kg.

Kapaskhali November 08 contract moved up by 3.95 per cent to Rs 491.90 per 50 kgs, mentha Oil November 08 contract went up by 7.57 per cent to Rs 494.60 per kg, kapas April 09 contract by 1.82 per cent to Rs 485.70 per 20 kgs and jute January 09 contract by 1.90 per cent to Rs 1,739 per quintal.
