CM promises stadium, memorial after Amit Beniwal

Jajjhar, Nov 28 (UNI) Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda paid homage to the brave son of Haryana, Lt. Amit Beniwal, 23, at his native village Safipur in this district today.

Beniwal had died during an avalanche in the Gurez sector of Jammu and Kashmir recently.

Mr Hooda announced to name the village school and construct a sports stadium in the village in the memory of Lt, Amit Beniwal.

He also announced to spend Rs, 50 lakh for constructing the streets across the village.

He said to honour the brave soldier, a statue of Lt Amit Beniwal would be put at the village school by the Shahid Samman Samiti headed by Rohtak Member of Parliament Deepender Singh Hooda.

Mr Deepender Singh Hooda assured the villagers that the memorial would be constructed soon so that the young generation could take inspiration from the life of Lt Amit Beniwal.
