Chinmayanand decries Mumbai ATS over wrong functioning
Jaunpur, Nov 28 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister of State for Home Swami Chinmayanand today criticised the Mumbai ATS and Maharashtra government for being busy in proving Sadhvi Pragya Singh and Lt Col Purohit as the biggest terrorists and failing to combat the ghastly terror strike in the city.
''The security agencies of Mumbai remained engaged in searching terrorists inside the country and could not even smell the foul play of the anti-national elements from abroad,'' said the BJP leader.
The Anti Terrorist Squad of Mumbai remained wide of the mark, while probing the recent Malegaon blast case and called Sadhvi Pragya Singh and Lt Col Purohit terrorists and a threat to the nation, Mr Chinmayanand charged.
''This reproachable incident occurred as the Mumbai ATS strayed from its objective,'' he alleged.
