Bachchan could not sleep without pistol under pillow

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Mumbai terror attacks have left Bollywood shell shocked and superstar Amitabh Bachchan's confession of sleeping with a loaded revolver under his pillow last night reflects the same.

''I am ashamed to say this. As the events of the terror attacks unfolded, I did something for the first time and one that I had never ever hoped be in any situation,'' Amitabh wrote in on his blog.

Amitabh said he spent the entire day watching news channels with shock and grief.

''My pain has been the sight and plight of my innocent and vulnerable and completely insecure countrymen, facing the wrath of this terror attacks,'' Bachchan wrote, adding his anger had been at the ineptitude of the authorities, who were ordained to look after us.
