AP CM to preside over FAPCCI annual function

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will preside over the 90th annual function and presentation awards of the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) on December four in the city.

A press release here today said, awards were given in recognition of proven excellence and outstanding contribution in areas, including industrial productivity, all-round performance, workers welfare, research and development, export performance and product innovation. All the awards carry a silver rolling trophy, a plaque and citation.

Awards for scientist and engineer, woman entrepreneur, self-sustaining effort by a physically challenged person and outstanding contribution for welfare of destitute women were given cash, plaque and citation.

The awards were instituted and awarded annually to foster and encourage excellence in different areas of performance of industrial, commercial organisations and individuals of the State, the release added.
