ACP Date, along with several others, recuperating fast

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Scores of people, including Additional Commissioner of Police Sadanand Date, who were injured in one of the worst terror attacks on the metropolis, were recuperating at several civic run hospitals.

ACP Date, along with another police officer Chandrakant Tikhe, was admitted to the K E M hospital on Wedesday night with minor injuries when the terrorists struck the city, the K E M hospital Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) told UNI here today.

At least 118 people, who sustained minor and major injuries, are recuperating at the J J Hospital.

Among them was a kitchen supervisor at Leopold Cafe, who was seriously injured after a hand grenade blew up in front of him, sources said.
