7-day mourning in C'garh on VP Singh's death
Raipur, Nov 28 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh Government has announced a seven-day mourning as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister V P Singh who passed away in New Delhi yesterday.
A notification has been issued by the General Administration Department to district collectors, divisional commissioners and department heads of the state government that state mourning would be observed from November 27 to December 3.
During this period, the national flag will fly at half mast throughout the state where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment, an official announcement said.
