UP politicians condemn Mumbai attack
Lucknow, Nov 27 (UNI) The deadly terror strikes in Mumbai that left over 100 people dead and scores injured has elicited huge resentment from political parties in Uttar Pradesh.
The Congress, prime opposition Samajwadi Party (SP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) this evening strongly criticised the terrorist attack in the Film city Mumbai and appealed the people to be calm and united.
The anti-national forces are trying to hamper the unity and peace of the country, but in no cost they would be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs, said UP Congress president Reeta Bahuguna Joshi.
Expressing grief over the death of inncocent people, BJP state unit chief Ramapati Ram Tripathi said, ''It is a direct attack upon the Indian sovereignty.'' SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav also criticised the growing incidents of terrorism in country and asked the people of the state to be united and calm in this bad time.
