Shivraj Patil holds emergency meeting in Mumbai
Mumbai, Nov 27: Home Minister Shivraj Patil held an emergency meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh to asses the situation after the multiple terror attack in the nation's commercial capital,Mumbai.
Shivraj Patil had rushed to Mumbai early on Thursday along with Director General of National Security Guards (NSG) J K Dutt.
200 NSG commandos have been rushed to Mumbai to help the state police in dealing with the ongoing terrorist attacks in the city.
The terrorists have taken control of the Taj Mahal and other Hotels in South Mumbai.
The Army was also pressed into service along with Naval commandos and Rapid Action Force.
Others who attended the hour-long meeting included Governor S C Jamir and Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil.
