RSS terms Mumbai terror attacks, as war on nation
New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) Expressing shock over the ''dastardly attack'' of the terrorists in Mumbai, the RSS today said the intention of the terrorists was to destroy peace, harmony and morale of the country.
In a statement, RSS chief K S Sudarshan said the magnitude of the attack--number of terrorists, huge quantity of weapons that they were carrying and the brazensess with which they attacked a number of prime locations in the city--clearly indicates that the terrorists have launched not an attack but a war on the nation.
He urged kar sevaks to continue their efforts to rescue the injured or those affected by the attacks.
He also paid homage to those people who have lost their lives in the attack and commended the efforts of the security personnel, especially those who sacrificed their lives valiantly.
