Rainfall occurred at few places over the State

Bangalore, Nov 27 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts in (cm): Chintamani, Gudibande, Mulbagal , Srinivasapura 2 each. Sidlaghatta, Chikballapur, Bagepalli, Thondebhavi, Kolar, Bangarpet, Doddaballapura, Nelamanagala, Anekal 1 each.

Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and normal over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12.8 deg. Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over South Interior Karnataka, at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
