Pak violates ceasefire, jawan injured in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 27 (UNI) Pakistani troops yet again violated the ceasefire agreement after they opened fire on Indian positions along the India-Pakistan border in which an army jawan was injured, official sources here said today.

The Pakistani troops late last night fired indiscriminately from across the border on Khour Border Out Post (BOP) along the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor Sector of Jammu district, the sources added.

''An army jawan, Havaldar Pratap Singh of 9 Rajpitana Rifles was critically injured while he was patrolling the LoC,'' the sources told UNI and added that he was immediately airlifted to the Military Hospital, Udhampur.

The Indian troops however, did not retaliate the fire.
