NRF appeals to factions to end confrontation

Kohima, Nov 27 (UNI) The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has expressed dissatisfaction over the recent accusations and counter-accusations and ''arrest'' of cadres by rivals.

In a release issued here today, the FNR has appealed to all the Naga underground factions to refrain from acts of provocations which are unacceptable to the Naga Reconciliation Process and constitute a breach of mutual trust.

Asserting that such actions of the Naga political groups (undergrounds) threatens to undo the painstaking progress, the FNR called for an immediate end to all the destructive confrontation taking place among the Naga political groups.

The FNR also urged the leaders of the Naga political groups to exhibit statesmanship by constructively building upon the progress that has been made in the journey to Naga reconciliation.
