National Women Sports Event from Dec 26 to 29

Shimla, Nov 27 (UNI) The four-day National Women Sports Event will be held at Hamirpur from December 26 to 29.

About 1,500 sportspersons from all over the country would participate in the hockey, badminton, lawn tennis and athletics competitions, a spokesman of the Youth Services and Sports Department said here today.

The hockey matches would be held in NIT ground Hamirpur, Government Polytechnic Hamirpur and Sujanpur Tihra ground, lawn tennis matches in NIT ground Hamirpur, athletics competitions in Government College Hamirpur while badminton matches would be held in Town Hall and Paddal Badminton Hall Mandi.
