Does Govt aid end with compensation?
Mumbai, Nov 27: The Maharashtra Deputy CM, R R Patil has declared a compensation package for deceased in the Mumbai Terror attacks. Rs 5 lakh for the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured has been declared on Thursday, Nov 27. For policemen who sacrificed their lives in the fight with terrorists, there are different norms of compensation, Patil said, after visiting the injured at the G T Hospital in South Mumbai.
"This terror act is an attack on the entire nation and it is the time to work together as Indians against the terrorists," he said.
Is it the ill-fate of our policemen or the irresponsibility of our politicians? The Policemen have sacrificed their lives and their compensation are yet to be decided? A hefty compensation is what their family deserve and the politicians should reconsider the compensation.
Working together? Of course, the Policemen worked together and sacrificed their lives. What is the politicians' role in this? Only declaring a nominal fee for the deceased policemen?
