Lawyers boycott work, set afire terrorism in effigy

Kanpur, Nov 27 (UNI) Judicial work in district courts today remained affected as lawyers boycotted work, protesting rising terror attacks in the country.

The Young Lawyers Association gave call for today's strike and burnt terrorism in effigy in the court compound.

Condemning the terrorist strike in Mumbai, Young Lawyers Association general secretary Ratan Agarwal said terror incidents have taken a rise due to Centre's apathy towards curbing terrorism.

Delay in execution of death sentence to Indian Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru has also increased terrorism, he alleged.
