Khanduri condemns Mumbai attacks
Dehra Dun, Nov 27 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Maj Gen (retd) B C Khanduri has stongly condemned the Mumbai terror attacks and said there was a need for a strong anti-terror law to effectively deal with terrorism.
In a statement, Gen Khanduri condoled the demise of police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty along with innocents and prayed for the recovery of the injured.
Stating that terrorism had no religion, He appealed to the people of the country to stand united and fight the menace of terrorism.
He also called for enhanced coordination between the Centre and the state security agencies in the interest of national security.
