Husain's controversial documentary screened at IFFI
Panaji, Nov 27 (UNI) MF Husain's documentary "Through the Eyes of a Painter", screening of which was deferred after some Hindu organisations staged protests, was screened again here today.
The screening of "Through the Eyes of a Painter" which is a depiction of Rajasthan through Husain's eyes was deferred after Goa Chief Minsiter Digambar Kamat requested the Films Division to defer the showing of the documentary as the Hindu organisations had threatened of wide spread protests.
Mr Kamat had asked the Films division to defer the screening.
Meanwhile, there were wide spread protest against the deferring of the film from film makers and other delegates.
