Goa CM condoles V P Singh's demise

Panaji, Nov 27(UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat has expressed deep shock over the demise of former Prime Minister V P Singh.

In a condolence message, Mr Kamat said in the death of the former Prime Minister, the country had lost a great patriot, foresighted leader, champion of downtrodden and farming community.

During his tenure as Prime Minister, Singh endeavoured to improve living conditions of farmers and the downtrodden.
